A 1200 litre stainless steel reactor with an SS316 shell, conventional mild-steel jacket and anchor-type agitator, sourced from a working plant and supplied cleaned and refurbished. Built to ASME Section VIII Division 2, its heavier 11 mm / 10 mm shell and dish thickness reflects the conventional jacket construction rather than a limpet coil.
Design & Configuration
This unit uses a conventional MS jacket rather than a limpet coil, which is why the shell and dish thickness — 11 mm and 10 mm — run heavier than the limpet-coil reactors in this stock lot. The anchor-type agitator sweeps close to the wall, maintaining heat transfer through the jacket on viscous or high-solids batches.
